The Academy of General Dentistry has renamed its continuing dental education approval program. The program, formerly known as the National Sponsor Approval Program (NSAP) is now named Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE). Those organizations receiving PACE approval will no longer be referred to as “sponsors” but will now be called program providers
Program Provider fees are as follows:
Please write "PACE + your provider name" in the memo line of your check.
You can download a complete copy of the PACE Application form and the 14 Standards of Quality Continuing Dental Education, which is the minimum criteria for PACE approval.
Please complete the PACE application and return the completed form with the required attachments to our office with your check. Your PACE application will be reviewed by a member of the PACE Approval Committee, and you will be notified within six weeks concerning the status of your application.
If you are approved as a Program Provider, all dentistry-related courses you present that are at least one hour in length will be approved for membership maintenance credit in the Academy. Some hours, depending on subject code and format, may be approved for Fellowship and Mastership credit in AGD.

PACE approval does not qualify or deny acceptance of your courses by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners for mandatory CE hours.

If this is your first time as a program provider, you are limited to a 1-year approval period.
