IMPORTANT CURRENT PACE PROVIDER INFORMATION:
If you are approved as a Program Provider, all dentistry-related courses you present that are at least one hour in length will be approved for membership maintenance credit in the Academy. Some hours, depending on subject code and format, may be approved for Fellowship and Mastership credit in AGD.

PACE approval does not qualify or deny acceptance of your courses by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners for mandatory CE hours.
Keeping up with PACE requirements as they change is very important.
It is your responsibility as a PACE provider to make sure you are in compliance at all times.
AGD sends out a PACE newsletter every other month with information that is important to keeping up with PACE requirements to all local and national PACE providers. This newsletter is also a good reference tool for AGD leaders. Providers are highly encouraged to check this resource on a regular basis for information that can help provide top-quality dental education and ensure compliance to published AGD PACE Guidelines.
PACE Application Guide
You should apply to become a local PACE Provider if your CE program....
-
Offers courses in only one state or province
-
Draws a significant portion of participants from only one state or province
-
Does not offer self instruction programs
-
Does not offer protocol (onsite/in-office) participation course
If this is your first time as a program provider, you are limited to a 1-year approval period.
Samples included are intended to be examples of the types of samples you should be using in your program to meet PACE standards. If you are not currently using any of these elements, you can modify the examples we give you to fit your program, start using in your program, and submit as your sample. Standard XIV can be used as an example in formulating your organization's guidelines or policies related to commercial support. Please refer back to the guidebook for clarification as you complete the application.
Please review the PACE Guidebook which contains the AGD's 13 standards and criteria for approval. Applications are reviewed based on these standards. Please note that approval by an AGD constituent chapter is for courses held in that particular state only. The AGD also approves program providers that offer CE in more than one state/province.
