Beginning September 1, 2006 all dental assistants who still need radiology registration with the State Board will need to take and pass a TSBDE approved course and examination covering required objectives in Jurisprudence, Infection Control and Radiology. The goal of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry's Dental Assistant Course is to provide sufficient information to permit dental assistants to gain knowledge and understanding of the critical concepts associated with each of these areas of certification in order to facilitate success in each examination. Dr. Robert Cooley will review all relevant topics and objectives and prepare students to pass the written exit exam, which will be given immediately following the course.
