Removable Prosthodontics

  Dr. Ramos will show participants the differences between removable and

  fixed prosthodontics and cover treatment planning, including goals. Dr.

  Ramos will also discuss the various types and functions of removable

  prosthodontics.

 

  Van Ramos, Jr., DDS is currently a Colonel in the United States Army Dental Corps. 

  He is the Mentor and Chief of Fixed Prosthodontics for the two year Advanced 

  Education Program in General Dentistry at Fort Hood, Texas where he teaches fixed

  and implant prosthodontics.  Dr. Ramos is a 1985 graduate from the University of

  Texas Dental Branch at Houston and received his certificate in Prosthodontics from

  Walter Reed General Hospital, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C.

  in 1994.  He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics and of the

  editorial staff for Quintessence of Dental Technology and the Journal of Contemporary

  Dental Practice. Dr. Ramos has also written and lectured on prosthodontics in Europe

  and the United States.
