Dentists are really smart – we have to be! But it can be difficult to run a successful practice, provide excellent treatment, have a cohesive team, worry about practice revenues, and be a team leader all at the same time. And as things get busier and busier….. Smart dentists can do some really dumb things! The good news is, most of these “dumb things” are easily corrected with the right know-how. In this brand new course we will discuss ten not-so-great things that most dentists do at one time or another and show easy solutions to make your practice better and your life easier! Here are some of the things dentists and team members will learn:
- How to finally get rid of the “New Patient Fix!”
- Why some dental technology can be extremely dangerous to your bottom line!
- One phone call that can literally save your practice $100,000. No kidding!
- The number one, extremely costly mistake most dentists make with their teams!
- The absolute biggest blunder dentists make when presenting treatment and how to fix it!
- An extremely harmful dental “equation” – get this wrong at your own peril!
- Is your practice “calibrated?” It better be!! Here’s how to do it!
- Much, much more!
Let’s face it – we’ve all done these “dumb things” at one time or another. They can cost you money, frustrate the entire team, and are just not fun. But the worst mistake of all would be not learning how to correct them! This brand-new Madow Center course is fun and engaging for the entire team, and best of all will show everyone some very simple and applicable ways to immediately improve the practice!

About the Speaker
In 1989, Dr. Richard Madow, along with his brother Dr. David Madow, founded The Madow Center for Dental Practice Success with the goal of helping their fellow dentists achieve success and happiness in their practices. Having been named a “Leader In Dental Consulting” by Dentistry Today for many years running, Rich’s publications, articles and blogs are some of the most popular in the dental profession and have reached over 100,000 practices across the world! Known for his hilarious and spontaneous style, Rich has lectured to standing room only crowds in practically every major city in The United States and Canada, teaching dentists and team members how to enjoy their careers, supercharge their practices, define and create their own personal success, increase profitability, and have more fun than ever before. The Madow Center for Dental Practice Success has a unique approach to coaching – instead of modules and pre-written programs, each practice is individually guided to overcome their weaknesses and grow their strengths in order to obtain greater income levels and enjoy dentistry more. The local AGD components in Texas take pride in being a trusted resource for members and they are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. Their top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our dental community. At this time, they will be proceeding with online meetings in addition to limited in-person meetings that will strictly follow CDC guidelines. They are encouraging a few simple preventative measures to limit the spread of COVID-19:
Promote the daily practice of everyday preventive actions. All attendees should practice daily good health habits to prevent the spread of any virus. Please review the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations for everyday preventive actions.
Individuals who are sick are discouraged from attending in-person events or to leave events if they begin to experience symptoms. If you have symptoms of a virus, which could include fever, cough, and shortness of breath, you are discouraged from attending the event and encouraged to follow CDC guidelines. If you become sick at the event, please promptly follow CDC guidelines, and notify event organizer by email or phone. In addition, if you believe you have been in close contact with someone who has been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, you are also discouraged from attending any in-person meetings and it is recommended you follow CDC guidance on what to do when sick. Together, all of us can help stop the spread. To access resources, please visit TAGD.org/Coronavirus.
