Carcinogenesis in the Oral Cavity, Oral Cancer in Non-Smokers, Oral Lesions that Warrant a Biopsy, Multimodality Management of Oral Cavity Cancer, Oral versus Oropharyngeal Cancer Case Presentations.
Attendees Will Learn
- Attendees will have a better understanding of carcinogenesis in the oral cavity.
- Attendees will better understand causes of oral cancer in non-smokers.
- Attendees will be able to better recognize oral lesions that warrant a biopsy.
- Attendees will better understand multimodality management of oral cavity cancer.
- Attendees will better understand the difference between oral and oropharyngeal cancer.
About Dr. Giese
Dr. Rachel Giese is an otolaryngologist in The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She received her medical degree from University of Texas Medical School and has been in practice 7 years. She specializes in head & neck oncologic surgery.
