FELLOWTRACK

Discover the Future

The FellowTrack program is an AGD Student Chapter offering a continuing education series created specifically for dental school students. The program topics are carefully selected to fit the needs and interests of today's dental students. Topics vary from Legislative News and Advocacy, Financial Planning, Practice Management, Dental Specialties, General Dentist Panel Discussions and Social Events. Sessions meet multiple times throughout the school year and offer free food.

While these courses are built to support the general dentists of tomorrow, they were also instituted to provide an early start towards earning your Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and therefore as an added benefit, if you participate in FellowTrack, your membership in the AGD is free.

There are three dental schools in Texas that offer AGD Student Chapter FellowTrack programs: UTHSC San Antonio, UTHSC Houston and Texas A&M College of Dentistry. You do not have to be a student member of the AGD in order to attend the FellowTrack sessions, but you will not be able to count your CE hours towards earning your Fellowship designation without joining.

HOW TO BECOME A FELLOW
You can start on this journey at any time!  If there is no FellowTrack program available in your area, or if you have already begun your dental career, you can begin tracking your CE hours by submitting them to AGD to apply toward your Fellowship award.  Be sure to keep your membership with AGD up-to-date, so you do not lose your hard-earned CE credits and award status.

If you want to study for your Fellowship exam, we have an online course which you can take here!
