Summary

*Beginning May 28th, 2026, the TSBDE no longer requires dental assistants to complete 6 in-person/live CE hours for biennial license renewal. All 12 required CE hours can now be completed online!

Each year Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs) must continue to advance their education by completing continuing education (CE) hours to meet Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) re-certification requirements. This course takes you beyond the basics to review medical history and charting, mixing materials, human head & neck anatomy, temporary crown, and provides (1) CE hour for the TSBDE required course for human trafficking (through Unbound and approved by HHSC).

-  This (6) hour on-demand CE course is approved to meet (6) CE hours by TSBDE.
-  Taught by a Dentist!
-  Easy access, go at your own pace and take notes.
-  Course completion is required within (45) days from the date of purchase.
-  A certificate of completion will be sent electronically after course completion.
