Mastership: A Lifelong Commitment to Exceptional Patient Care. A Lasting Connection with the Dental Community.

The MasterTrack® program allows you to get the participation credit you need to obtain your Mastership in the most affordable way. Learn from a team of experts as the program directors provide one-on-one support and a variety of resources to guide you through the entire four-year term.

  • Must be an AGD member to join the program. To become a member, click here.

  • MasterTrack® is a combination of lecture, participation, with a case study program, or protocol program, with two (2) sessions each year.  Each session is three and a half days beginning with case presentations on Thursday. The program fulfills all of the subject code specific participation requirements needed to earn Mastership in approximately four years.

  • The requirements for the program 1) Achievement of Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry or 2) Pass Fellowship Exam and have over 300 CE hours or 3) Has not taken or passed the Fellowship Exam, but has over 400 CE hours. View AGD Award Guidelines here. (Contact the Texas AGD office if you have questions or would like to request special consideration.)

  • After each session, participants practice various techniques by carrying out an assigned case study and prepare at least a 10-minute PowerPoint presentation to be given at the following session. Full participation in the program can earn you up to 48 hours of hands-on credit per session.  That's about 96 hands-on hours each year!

  • During each session, you will meet with MasterTrack® Directors to review your transcript and discuss the subject codes you need to meet your goal of Mastership.

  • Each session hosts any where from 20-45 participants allowing you to network within a very tight-knit group of colleagues.

  • If you are already on the Pathway 2 Mastership and need more hours to meet subject code requirements, this program is for you too.  Members do not need to attend all four years to participate in MasterTrack®.
